The VAT registration process can take up to six weeks from the time the application is submitted to when the VAT registration comes through with revenue. It may take less time if all relevant documentation is given initially when the application is first submitted.
This process is more straight forward than the VAT registration process and normally the CT registration is obtained within a week or two depending on Revenue Commissioner's work load at that time.
